In this week’s Personality Profiles, we want to introduce you to both Josh and Lauren Sprayberry. Josh is the founder and chief operating officer of Anchors Marina here in Lake Oconee. His wife, Lauren, is the chief executive officer of Anchors Marina and also an attorney.
They graciously took the time to answer a few of our questions.
LOH: Can you please tell our readers what you do for a living?
Josh: I’m a CPA by trade and Lauren is an attorney by trade. With a love for the water, we decided to focus our time on developments around the lake like the Marina and working through the Boutique Hotel Project.
LOH: How long have you lived in the Lake Country region?
Lauren: We have been here full time since September 2018.
LOH: Where are you originally from?
Josh: I’m originally from Griffin, GA.
Lauren: I’m from Zebulon, GA.
LOH: What do you enjoy most about living here?
Josh: We both love getting in the boat and catching the sunset down Lick Creek.
Where is your favorite place to eat in the region?
Josh and Lauren: National Tavern is usually our go to place
LOH: Do you have any hobbies?
Lauren: I love tennis!
Josh: I’m always good for a round of sporting clays or a quail hunt.
