Landmark Construction and Development supports Heart & Soul Gala as major sponsor

Landmark Construction and Development, with offices located at Lake Oconee and Macon, continues its commitment to the community by stepping up as a major sponsor for the highly anticipated 2025 Heart & Soul Gala.

The Gala, a premier black-tie fundraiser that benefits St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, will take place at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee and celebrates the hospital’s 10th anniversary in its current location. Landmark, owned by Brandon Burgess and TJ Heath, has over 60 years of experience in the construction industry and deep roots in supporting vital community services and development projects. Its involvement in this event underscores its dedication to the betterment of the area.

With a focus on quality craftsmanship, the company has built an impressive portfolio that has shaped the growth of the Lake Country area, as well as the Southeast. Landmark’s attention to detail, innovative designs, and commitment to customer satisfaction have been the driving forces behind its success.

The company has been instrumental in the development of several projects in the community including Lake Oconee Church, Lake Oconee Academy, Pete Nance Boys and Girls Club Center, Holiday Inn Express, and Tru by Hilton to name a few.

Brandon and Emily Burgess moved to the Lake Oconee area in 2015 and have since made it their mission to support both the growth and preservation of the local community. Their commitment to local healthcare, exemplified by their generous sponsorship of the Heart & Soul Gala, reflects their belief that St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital is one of the community’s most essential amenities.

“Good Samaritan Hospital is not just a healthcare facility; it is a lifeline for the community,” said Brandon. “By supporting the hospital’s initiatives through events like the Heart & Soul Gala, we are helping to ensure that high-quality healthcare remains accessible to all in the Greensboro and Lake Oconee areas.”

“We appreciate the support of Landmark Construction and Development,” said Riezl Baker, Chair of the Heart and Soul Gala and a member of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. “As top sponsors of the 2025 Heart & Soul Gala, they are reaffirming their longstanding dedication to the community they’ve helped build,”
