Personality Profile: Trey Daniels

In this week’s Personality Profile, we are featuring Trey Daniels.

Trey was born in Mobile, Alabama. His father was in the United States Army for 33 years and he has lived from the east coast to the west coast. Returning back to Atlanta, he graduated from North Springs High School in Dunwoody and attended The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where he studied business and communication.

Over multiple decades of living in Atlanta, he has seen the evolution of the city and what it has to offer, including the communities and amenities just a short drive outside the city. After living in Atlanta until 2012, Trey decided to move from Ansley Park and make Lake Oconee in Middle Georgia his home. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of Middle Georgia’s Lake Country with family, friends and clients. Whether it is for a full-time residence or a part-time getaway, he thrives on working hard for his clients so they get the most out of their lake home purchasing experience.

Trey’s number one focus is to make sure it is the perfect lake home for you and your family. His philosophy is to keep the transaction process as timely, smooth and enjoyable with the least amount of stress.

With over 25 years of experience in real estate, Trey’s greatest reward is sharing his excitement and genuine love for real estate and lake life. After living at Lake Oconee for over a decade now, he possesses extensive and in-depth knowledge of the many areas that Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair have to offer. Whether you are buying your first lake home or your 10th, he has the knowledge and expertise that will help your decision be the right one.

Trey focuses on past clients, friends, and family and their referrals for home purchases at Lake Oconee and the Lake Country area, including Greensboro, Buckhead, Madison, Eatonton, Milledgeville and the surrounding historic towns. After numerous years in the real estate industry, he has countless connections that allow him to assist clients and their friends with their real estate needs both around the country and internationally. Trey enjoys all that lake life has to offer, including boating, tennis and golf, as well as spending time with family, friends and his three dogs, Buddy (a West Highland Terrier), Cora (a Cowgirl Corgi – Half Blue Heeler Half Corgi), and Daisy his Beagle. When Trey is not boating on the lake, you will find him entertaining friends, family and loved ones and exploring the surrounding historic towns, soaking up the history, architecture and scouting out great finds in the area’s antique stores.

Trey was gracious enough to respond to a few questions we had for him!

1. Can you please tell our readers what you do for a living?

I am a licensed Realtor with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty servicing the Lake Oconee and the surrounding area.

2. How long have you lived in the Lake Country region?

I moved to Lake Oconee in the spring of 2012

3. Where are you originally from?

Born in Mobile, Alabama, my father was in the US Army and retired to Atlanta in 1985, my childhood was spent living in different places from the east coast to west coast.

4. What do you enjoy most about living here?

We have the best of all worlds living here. In addition to the best lake life anyone could ask for, we have a thriving community on its own and the ability to be in one of the best and largest US cities in a little over an hour.  On top of that, we have accessibility because of Hartsfield International Airport to go anywhere in the world.

5. Where is your favorite place to eat in the region?

My first choice is to always support local and Silver Moon is my go-to place for dinner.  Outside of the immediate lake area, I always enjoy the restaurants that Madison has to offer and beyond that would be Atlanta that has some of the best restaurants you could want.

6. Do you have any hobbies?

I enjoy traveling internationally and domestically, cooking, shopping for antiques for my antique store Broad Street and Main located in Downtown Greensboro, boating, wakeboarding, playing tennis and a newbie to the game of Golf.

7. What does a healthy day look like for you?

A day where I can balance my work and play!  Being in real estate you sometimes have to sacrifice the play time and finding that happy and healthy balance is important.
