The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee Donates Weekend Stay for One Lucky Good Samaritan Hospital Colleague

In continuation of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Foundation’s “Go RED for Good Sam” campaign to uplift Good Samaritan colleagues during the month of February, The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee has stepped up to treat one Good Samaritan Hospital colleague to a very special weekend.

The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee has generously donated the use of a three-bedroom premier English Camellia cottage for two nights as a prize package for one lucky Good Samaritan Hospital employee to win. The cottage, recently fully renovated and designed by Black Sheep Interiors, sleeps up to 10, so this employee can bring their family, coworkers, friends, or anyone they would like to include.

Due to the generous support of the St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Foundation Board of Directors, a $1,000 Ritz-Carlton gift card will also be given to the winning colleague and can be used for meals, spa treatments, golf outings, room service, etc.

A random drawing among the names of all non-director level Good Samaritan colleagues will be held the first week of March to reveal the winner. To see the results of the drawing, please follow St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital on Facebook.

“Good Samaritan Hospital workers have put their HEART and SOUL into serving our community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Becky Smith, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Foundation Board Vice Chair. “Our sincere appreciation to The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, in addition to all of our campaign supporters, for giving back to our health care heroes at Good Sam during this time of crisis.”

Thank you to all who have donated to the “Go RED for Good Sam” campaign during the month of February. All proceeds benefit the “Expanding Technology, Elevating Care” Capital Campaign to help purchase a state-of-the-art CT scanner, permanent MRI suite, a dedicated cardiac stress lab, and a 2,200-square-foot expansion to house them.

There are still a few days left in which to contribute to the “Go RED for Good Sam” campaign. To donate, please visit: https://donate.stmarysgoodsam.org/goredforgoodsam.
