In this month’s Personality Profile, we feature Madison Zak, a realtor for 7 years with Kim and Lin Logan Real Estate. Madison grew up watching her parents, Kim and Lin, be the top realtor at Lake Oconee for 20 years. When Kim and Lin decided to go out on their own, her heart told her to join the family business. She says it’s been the best decision she has ever made.
Madison is a Georgia Southern graduate with a degree in marketing. After graduating college she couldn’t wait to get back to the lake to sell what she loves – “Living on the Lake.” She brings both enthusiasm and ambition to the team. Madison grew up in Georgia’s Lake Country, enjoying the lake life.
She watched her parents build this business from the ground up and always enjoyed helping her mom in Real Estate. Her passion and drive is a direct result of this. Being perpetually “on call” has reinforced an already strong work ethic and has taught Maddie to push the boundaries of customer service while servicing her own clients. Madison is truly a workaholic that will have your back when buying.
Madison was gracious enough to respond to a few questions we had for her this week!
How long have you lived in the Lake Country region?
I have lived at Lake Oconee for 27 years. I’ve watched this community grow from nothing and I love continuing to watch my hometown grow!
Where are you originally from?
Born in Athens. Kim and Lin decided to move to Lake Oconee when I was two and moved into Reynolds Landing when I was 10 years old.
What do you enjoy most about living here?
People ask me this question all the time! As a young professional, it can be hard to live at Lake Oconee being that there’s not much infrastructure and nightlife. However, that didn’t keep me away!! I LOVE to be outdoors and at Lake Oconee, I learned there’s plenty to do! If I’m not working, you can find me on the golf course, on tennis courts, riding horses, or out on the lake with friends. There’s nowhere else I would want to live and to help others find a home in the place I’ve called home my entire life.
Where is your favorite place to eat in the region?
My favorite place to eat would probably be Silver Moon. There’s not a night I can’t walk in there and at least know 5 people , it’s the social hub of Lake Oconee and I remember as a kid eating there with my family.
Who are some of your inspirations in life?
Kim and Lin are my biggest role models! Always pushing me, continuing to help me grow every day, and most importantly, NOTHING has been given to me. I appreciate that more and more as I get older.
Do you have any hobbies?
I’m a dog mom of two dogs, Dixie and Radar. So I love to hang out with my puppies and of course any activity outside!
What does a healthy day look like for you?
Working out, showing property, and having nice lovely dinners with friends and family in the community.
Anything else you’d like the readers to know about yourself or living in the Lake Country region?
I will continue to grow and push myself to be better than Kim Logan herself (if possible) HA! This company is my everything and I want to be able to provide the best customer service to those in the community and others moving to the community.
